Cisco seen reporting solid second quarter (Reuters)

(Reuters) ? A year after network equipment maker Cisco Systems Inc unnerved investors with yet another weak quarterly outlook the company looks set to report a stable quarter buoyed in part by improving enterprise demand in the United States.

Analysts on average expect Cisco to post earnings of 43 cents a share excluding items, up 16.2 percent, in the quarter that runs until end-January, on a revenue increase of almost 8 percent to $11.23 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

For the current quarter analysts estimate earnings of 45 cents a share on revenue of $11.48 billion.

Cisco is due to report its second quarter results after the bell on Wednesday, February 8.

"We believe improving demand in the U.S. is driving a recovery in Cisco's business with solid growth across U.S. enterprise and commercial offsetting weakness in Europe and parts of Asia such as India," Natarajan Subrahmanyan, analyst at The Juda Group, wrote in a note.

He added that "Cisco will outgrow its peers over the long-term, given enterprise networking is outgrowing overall IT spending."

Investors have been trying to gauge what IT budgets will look like in 2012, with mixed messages from companies in the past two months, and will be keen to hear Cisco's take on the macroeconomic outlook.

Some of Cisco's smaller rivals such as Juniper Networks, Tellabs and Acme Paket had warned of weak capex spending while F5Network said it sees a boost in enterprise demand, thanks to a boom in data center consolidation.

Cisco, which is active in data centers as well, appeared to have also seen solid enterprise demand that "tempered downbeat carrier capex," Barclays said.

According to Morgan Stanley analyst Ehud Gelblum, Cisco had also benefited from revenue from large routing contracts in China.

In addition, Subrahmanyan said Cisco had been aggressive in pricing in the routing market, possibly resulting in some moderate gains in market share.

Routers and switches, which direct Internet traffic, are core to Cisco's business but the company has also focused on data centers, enabling and providing cloud computing technology and video platforms.

"We expect Cisco to report relatively in-line results and guidance, causing it to remain the safe haven it has become since late last summer," Gelblum said, but cautioned that some issues remained.

While he expected Cisco to gradually lose share in the fixed line switching market where both Juniper and Hewlett-Packard Co remained aggressive, he anticipated that "Cisco can lose share gracefully and not miss numbers."

Cisco would likely lose some market share to Juniper in the data center market as well, Gelblum said.

FRANCEVILLE, Gabon (AP) -Ghana and Mali scraped through to the African Cup of Nations semifinals on Sunday, as Tunisia and Gabon fell in agonizing fashion.

Ghana beat Tunisia 2-1 in extra time after goalkeeper Aymen Mathlouthi's blunder gifted the Black Stars a 101st-minute winner in a tense, bad tempered quarterfinal at Stade de Franceville.

Mali beat co-host Gabon 5-4 in a penalty shootout in the quarterfinal in Libreville after they were level at 1-1 following 120 minutes.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Gabon's scoring hero of the group stage, missed the decisive spot kick and dissolved into tears in the middle of a huddle of players as the home team's tournament ended in bitter disappointment.

Ghana faces Zambia and Mali plays Ivory Coast in Wednesday's semifinals.

The only way they feel they create the value in themselves is through giving to others.

Only when they get a reaction from others will they feel their value in this world, as you read on you?ll notice this causes a them an inner conflict because this behaviour is a contradiction of their beliefs.

If they ever feel they are not valued from anyone this will hit them hard because they already feel that?s true!

They find it hard to have a good time on their own and so keep busy, or spend time with others. They are on a constant search to feel good through the validation of others.

This means that they are not at peace with themselves.

This type of behaviour usually comes from heightened emotional experience in their past. For example a child who does not receive love in the way they need it can create an adult that does not value themselves.

This child might have spent it?s time trying hard to please to get their love from mum and dad. This then becomes their pattern of getting love. As an adult there will be no shortage of people wanting to get love in some way so they become the perfect fit. The giver and the takers!

Whilst giving is an amazing quality and is one I encourage in relationships the person can?t give honestly if they don?t know how to give to themselves.

This is because the person is actually giving to get something back i.e. the love. [BTW giving to get never works] they know this inside, so they reject it because it?s self-focused and self-indulgent.

So they are now stuck, life is now unwinnable! This is likely to create an even bigger detachment from their true self, creating low moods, anxiety, stress and depression.? Detachment can also cause the person to act in ways which are in conflict with their own beliefs. For example an affair!

So now they don?t trust themselves to make good decisions as life starts to prove they can make mistakes.

This adds more weight to their belief that they are valueless and so ??. not worthy of LOVE!?
